You can hire your own attendant and we will help you train him or her how to properly cater your care needs.
Finding the right caregiver to support you with your daily tasks is important. You can feel comfortable and safe when you trust the person who will provide you with assistance. That is why we offer the Consumer Directed Service to our clients. This is a Medicaid program wherein you can employ your own caregiver. You can hire a friend or family member to care for you; however, you cannot enlist the assistance of your spouse or any individual below 18 years of age.
To be eligible for this service, you must be:
- Medicaid eligible
- 18 years old and above
- Unable to manage your own care needs
- Physically disabled
- Able to live independently
